Human resource professionals contribute to the development of a business’s most valuable asset: it’s people. HR professionals are responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, employee and labour relations, and often specialise in a particular area of the industry.
This qualification is directly aligned with priority industry areas where jobs are today, and into the future. As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills initiative, from 1 January 2020 through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession. Throughout this course, you will learn about the processes and regulations that keep an organisation ticking – from industrial awards and agreements, through to work health and safety procedures and internal human resources processes. You will learn about performance and payroll management, how to develop teams and conduct negotiations.
This program has been designed to meet the needs of experienced, independent learners learning in remote regions within North West Australia.
