Throughout this course, you will learn about the processes and regulations that keep an organisation ticking – from industrial awards and agreements, through to work health and safety procedures and internal human resources processes. You will learn about performance and payroll management, how to develop teams and conduct negotiations. 

This program has been designed to meet the needs of experienced, independent learners learning in remote regions within North West Australia.  

Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:

  • Recruiting and onboarding staff 
  • Developing teams and undertaking negotiations 
  • Performance management 
  • Payroll management 
  • Industrial relations: awards/agreements 
  • Internal human resources processes 
  • Work health and safety policies and procedures 
  • Utilising the Microsoft Office suite 
  • You are currently working within the commerce or business industry and wish to move into a human resources role 
  • You have a keen interest in organisational culture and supporting staff and managers to achieve their workplace goals
