The Diploma of Accounting offers in-depth training in financial reporting, tax documentation, budgeting, and forecasting.
Students will develop the expertise to review accounting controls and processes in a simulated workplace environment, replicating real-world scenarios. Additionally, students will have the flexibility to integrate current workplace documents into their studies, enhancing the learning experience. Upon completion, students will be ready for accreditation with the Institute of Public Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians. This course paves the way for roles such as an accountant, bookkeeper, or tax agent and provides a solid foundation for ongoing career growth.
This course is designed for people wishing to expand their career in finance.
Students will gain gain strong skills in Accounting where they will focus on analysing financial performance of businesses, providing advice to business owners, preparing tax documentation for individuals and budgeting and reporting. This qualification will assist people to become BAS agents.
This is course is ideal for people wishing to improve their skills and knowledge to become an Assistant Accountant, Payroll Team Leader, or Accounts Receivable Team Leader. This is a recognised pathway into university.
