This is a bridging qualification for people of all cultural backgrounds and ages who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking and mathematics skills for employment, further training or participation within the community. This qualification approximates a year 9 high school level.

Using a combination of structured teaching and unstructured learning activities, you will build your skills in working with numbers and money, creating computer-based texts, directions, teamwork and job seeking to grow your confidence and employability skills.
Training is built around a flexible strength-based framework, allowing you to pursue your interests and incorporate your own life experiences into your learning.
This course is available at other campus locations upon request.
Throughout this course, you will gain skills in:

- Interpreting statistics using graphs, diagrams and charts
- Working with numbers and money
